How to knock out your gacha dailies when you’ve got no damn time

The dailies guilt is real. You love these games, but between work, the kid, and everything else, the idea of logging into 3-4 of them and grinding through daily tasks (aka chores, lol) makes you want to… lie down.

The dailies guilt is real. You love these games, but between work, the kid, and everything else, the idea of logging into 3-4 of them and grinding through daily tasks (aka chores, lol) makes you want to… lie down.

So you skip a day, then two, then you feel behind, then you quit checking in at all.

I’ve been there, and I’m here to tell you your gacha dailies DO NOT need to eat your evening. Most days I clear mine across four games in under half an hour combined, sometimes a little less.

I stream Genshin Impact, Wuthering Waves, Zenless Zone Zero, and Neverness to Everness, so I run this gauntlet myself, on a toddler mom schedule. Here’s how I keep it fast.

And if the bigger problem is finding any time to play at all, I broke that down in how to game when you have no time. This post is the tactical version, just the dailies.

How do you finish gacha dailies when you’re short on time?

A few habits do most of the work, no matter which game you’re in.

Build a strong team, then build an exploration team. Your combat team is the one that tears through domains, bosses, and Tacet Fields, so farming takes one clean run instead of three sloppy ones. Your exploration team is built for running around the map, and it earns its keep the day you have no choice but to farm local specialties (aka FLOWERS) for a character’s ascension. Gathering is tedious enough already. Doing it with a slow, clunky team makes it take twice as long. Save both as presets, and you’ll never burn a dailies session rebuilding a comp.

Never let your energy overflow. resin (Genshin Impact), waveplates (WUWA), battery charge (ZZZ), character pixels (NTE), they all stop regenerating the second they hit the cap. That overflow is the only thing you actually lose by being busy. So the real job most days is just spending your energy before it wastes. Genshin’s Condensed Resin exists for exactly this, letting you bank forty at a time so nothing drains away while you sleep.

Skip the event dialogue. Events stack up fast in these games, and you can usually skip the cutscenes (they normally aren’t tied to major lore bits of the game) and go straight to claiming the rewards. Tap through, grab the loot, move on.

And work in an order so you’re not wandering around. Claim your passive stuff first (expeditions, cafe income, mail), then dump your energy, then mop up the tiny tasks. Same order every time, muscle memory takes over.

Your fast route, game by game

  1. Genshin Impact. Collect and re-send your expeditions first so they’re cooking while you play. Then knock out your four Daily Commissions (or condense resin to avoid them), and go set your commission region in settings so they all spawn in one area instead of scattering you across the map. Claim the bonus from Katheryne, spend your Resin (or bank it as Condensed if you can’t play right now), and grab your Realm currency from the teapot on the way out. Under ten minutes if you don’t dawdle.
  2. Wuthering Waves. Dump your waveplates first, since it caps at 240. Busy week? WUWA has your back with a waveplate overflow that holds up to 480 extra, which is clutch on the days you can’t farm at all. Once both bars are full, though, that’s your cue to start spending. Run your Tacet Fields or bosses with a strong team so you can farm quickly. That plus a couple of quick tasks fills your daily Activity points meter, which is where the astrite reward sits. Claim it, check your Pioneer Podcast (battlepass) and you’re out.
  3. Zenless Zone Zero. This daily run is my absolute FAVORITE because it’s the quickest. Start with the daily Scratch Card, it takes about five seconds. Spend your Battery Charge on whatever you’re farming, again with a saved team so it’s basically instant. Between that and your daily tasks you’ll hit the engagement cap for the day’s Polychrome. If you need to recharge your battery, get some coffee from Coff Cafe (this also feeds your daily tasks). If you’ve already cleared a stage cleanly, ZZZ lets you quick-farm it without replaying, so lean on that on the rushed days. Claim and log off. If you want to avoid combat, re-open your video store to feed that daily task list. Claim rewards, check battlepass, then bounce.
  4. Neverness to Everness. This one runs two separate stamina bars, so keep them straight. Spend your Character Pixels on Anomaly Zones first; they regen one every six minutes and cap at 240, so don’t let them sit full. Then clear the daily quests in your Exploration Guide, collect your Fons from the Cafe by Origen and restock it so it keeps earning while you’re gone, and hit the thirty-second stuff on your way through: your pool wish, your daily fortune, your mail and Circle Bounty rewards. The City Stamina hobbies reset weekly, not daily, so don’t stress those on a busy day.

Here’s my real routine. I’m an early bird, so my dailies happen first thing in the morning before the house wakes up (or in the evening, if the day gets away from me). I hit all four games, and ZZZ is always the quickest. In every game, my stamina goes to ONE character I’m building, so every run moves somebody forward instead of spreading thin across five half-built characters.

Dailies really come down to two jobs: finish the tasks that pay out those yummy daily rewards (they add up, trust me), and spend your stamina so your account keeps progressing. Everything else is a bonus.

Which dailies can you skip guilt-free?

Here’s the part nobody tells you, loves. Not everything stamped “daily” actually matters if you miss it once. So on the truly brutal days, here’s what you can let go of without hurting your account.

Skip the weekly stuff on weekdays. NTE’s City Stamina hobbies, the weekly bosses in every game, all of that resets weekly, not daily. Batch it into one session on a day off and stop trying to touch it every twenty-four hours. Chasing weekly content daily is exactly how you burn out on a game you actually love.

Skip the tiny extras. The little Fons farms, the gift-giving, the daily fortune pulls, they’re nice, but they’re small. Miss them on a rough day and your account will not blink.

And if you can only do one thing, dump your energy and bounce. Stamina is the sole real loss in these games. Spend your resin, waveplate, battery, or pixels in ninety seconds, skip literally everything else, and you’ve protected the only thing worth protecting.

Now the tough love, because you need it. Missing a day of dailies will not tank your account. These games are marathons that run for years. If your dailies have quietly turned into a second job that stresses you out every night, that’s not a sign to grind harder. That’s your cue to skip guilt-free, and I mean it.

A hobby is supposed to give you energy, not drain it. If you need the full pep talk on that, I wrote it out in why gaming isn’t a waste of time. 🤍

Come do your dailies with me sometime. I run mine on stream a few times a week and we can keep each other honest about not turning our favorite games into chores. Half the fun is racing through them together and then actually playing the game we logged in for.
